A warm welcome awaits you at our 200 year old farm, situated in the western mountain foothills of Maine. In summer relax on our old fashion front porch or sit on the glider under the shade of the maple tree. Listen to the sounds of farm life. We also raise beef cattle, goats, sheep and chickens. We have a dog, 3 cats & 2 horses. Enjoy nature trails and fishing in the river that flows through our 217 acre farm.

Introduction

Are you looking for peace and tranquility?
Are you tired of crowded tourist towns?
Then this is the place for you!

Step back in time to Morrill Farm B&B, our 217-acre working farm. We have an old fashion rustic kitchen with an old slate sink, a wood cookstove, water pump, lanterns and icebox. In our living room we have an old victrola which is always fun to play. In winter we have flannel sheets and soapstone to warm your bed.

Summer Kitchen In the morning enjoy a full farm breakfast with homegrown bacon or sausage and fresh eggs with Pat's homemade bread.

In our barn we have lots of old buggies and sleighs and other horse drawn equipment. In addition, we have 2 barn cats, a Belgium workhorse named Lucky, 8 goats, several milking cows and several heads of cattle. Of course, we have chickens and plenty of fresh eggs. Milking the Cow

Mountain Views We have miles of nature trails for your walking pleasure, or for cross-country skiing in the winter. The west branch of the Nezinscot River flows through our property and provides great fishing. Additional fishing, as well as swimming, can be enjoyed at many nearby ponds and lakes. For a great hiking day, Speckle and Bald Mountains are only 5 minutes away and provide spectacular views everywhere you look. For downhill skiing, Mt. Abram is about 20 minutes away, Sunday River is about 45 minutes away, and New Hampshire is only 45 minutes away.

After you've rested up, you might like to explore the local establishments. Perham's Jewelry Store is a short ride. They have lots of mineral rocks, jewelry, and maps to several of their mines, which are open to the public. Other local shopping establishments are located in Buckfield, South Paris, Norway, and Oxford. Driving time to L.L. Bean in Freeport is about 90 minutes.

Morrill Farm B&B offers three spacious second-floor guestrooms that share a bath. There is a second bath in the main part of the house. The largest room has two double beds and room for a rollaway. The other two rooms each have a queen-size bed.
